You can choose whether your child has a packed lunch from home or a school lunch.

Primary school children in state-funded schools in London will continue to get free school meals for the next four years. The London Mayor recognises that families are in urgent need of support. The meals will help families with the cost of living by making sure that children in state-funded London schools receive free school meals.

School Meals

Here at Cromer Road we have delicious and nutritionally balanced meals for children to eat at lunchtimes provided by our caterers, HCL (Hertfordshire Catering Limited). All food is freshly prepared on-site daily by our dedicated kitchen team.

Parents can choose their child's school meal on our School Grid lunch ordering system. This can be done on a weekly, half-termly or termly basis.

We are also able to cater for children who require a special diet for medical or allergy reasons in liaison with parents and HCL. If your child requires a specialist diet, please contact HCL. Please note that this may take a few weeks to set up following the completion of the information form.

Packed Lunches

As part of the Healthy Schools Scheme we ask that packed lunches provide a healthy, balanced lunch for children. Please see the guidance below for advice on what should be included.

We are a nut free school so please ensure that anything sent in from home is nut-free.
